Michael Mills serves as Secretary of Operation: O.F.F. D.U.T.Y., where he ensures communication, documentation, and organizational structure remain strong and mission-focused. A devoted husband and father, Michael is deeply family-oriented and understands firsthand the balance between service and home life. That perspective is one of the reasons he is so passionate about the mission to provide restorative experiences for first responders and their families.
Michael is a veteran of both the Texas Army National Guard and the Army Reserves. Throughout his service, he supported operations during times of crisis, including hurricane response efforts along the Gulf Coast. These experiences reinforced his understanding of long hours, high-stress environments, and the toll that service can take—not just on the individual, but on their family as well.
In his civilian life, Michael works alongside his father as a welder, carrying forward strong values of hard work, craftsmanship, and generational integrity. He also serves his local American Legion as a Pit Master for multiple fundraising events each year, continuing his commitment to community involvement. When he’s not working or volunteering, he enjoys time outdoors hunting and spending quality time with his family.
Michael brings steadiness, loyalty, and quiet leadership to Operation: O.F.F. D.U.T.Y., standing firmly behind the mission to ensure those who serve our communities have the opportunity to rest, reconnect, and reset.
As Secretary of Operations for Operation: O.F.F. D.U.T.Y., Michael plays a critical role in ensuring vision is translated into execution. He brings structure, follow-through, and thoughtful organization to the leadership team, helping maintain clarity behind the scenes so the mission stays strong out front. Michael believes that lasting impact doesn’t happen by accident — it happens through disciplined systems, shared responsibility, and a commitment to serving others well.
