Kasey serves as Sergeant at Arms for Operation: O.F.F. D.U.T.Y., where he plays a critical role in maintaining structure, order, and accountability within the organization. A proud U.S. Army veteran and dedicated father, Kasey understands firsthand the weight that service can place on both the individual and their family. During his time in the Army, he served multiple tours overseas, gaining real-world leadership experience in high-pressure environments. Those experiences shaped his leadership style—disciplined, dependable, and mission-focused—while instilling a deep respect for those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
In addition to his work with Operation: O.F.F. D.U.T.Y., Kasey continues giving back through volunteer involvement with a veterans group at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), supporting fellow veterans as they transition, grow, and find continued purpose beyond their service. Service remains a core part of who he is, reflected in the way he continues to support fellow veterans and community initiatives. Following his time in uniform, Kasey also served as a professor of trade skills, teaching carpentry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, and other essential crafts. As a master of trade disciplines, he not only passed on technical knowledge, but instilled discipline, confidence, and pride in workmanship to the next generation.
Though he takes his responsibilities seriously, Kasey brings a personable and approachable presence to the team. He values camaraderie and believes that strong organizations are built not only on structure, but on trust and connection. His ability to balance professionalism with a well-timed sense of humor strengthens the culture within Operation: O.F.F. D.U.T.Y.
Outside of his leadership and volunteer roles, Kasey enjoys tending to his plants, building intricate Lego sets, listening to podcasts, and diving deep into history. His curiosity and appreciation for craftsmanship reflect patience and attention to detail—qualities that carry into his leadership.
Kasey is passionate about ensuring first responders receive the restorative reset they may need after long hours, high-stress environments, and the sacrifices that often impact family life. He stands firmly behind the mission to provide meaningful opportunities for rest, reconnection, and renewal for those who serve our communities every day.
